Recently, eZedia CEO and President, Stefan Embleton was awarded an Honourable Mention in the CANARIE IWAY Awards. The Awards support "frontier" technology. Recipients are visionaries who see the future, create the future and develop it to ensure that Canada's information society grows and prospers.
CANARIE IWAY Award winners are nominated by their peers and selected by a distinguished panel of high technology and advanced Internet professionals from across Canada.
Stefan received the award in the Application of Technology Category, in which nominees have initiated innovative uses of new technology associated with the development of Canada's information society, or have adapted products or applications in an exceptional manner.
Due to the outstanding nominations, the IWAY committee, for the first time in their 6 -year history, presented honourable mentions.
Stefan received one of only seven Honourable Mentions presented in a ceremony in Vancouver on April 23rd. Stefan was also one of only three people honoured from Western Canada, the other two being from British Columbia.
