1. eZeScreen 1.0 - eZedia's 2nd iMovie Plug-in
eZeScreen plug-in was released earlier this week. It gives iMovie 2 users professional blue screen and green screen video effects. Users can position an additional movie over an iMovie 2 clip and adjust the transparency and fade levels of any selected color to add animated logos, talking heads, or any QuickTime supported movie.

eZedia's first iMovie plug-in, eZeMatte 1.0, allows any QuickTime supported image to overlay an iMovie clip. Users can add borders, frames, themes, logos or any customized graphic.

"With eZeScreen, iMovie 2 users can include Hollywood-style special effects that were previously only available in professional level products. Combined with eZeMatte, graphics and movies can now both be easily layered over iMovies," said Stefan Embleton, President and Chief Executive Officer of eZedia Inc. "The eZedia plug-ins for iMovie 2 continue to follow our mandate of producing incredibly powerful authoring software that lets everyone communicate through the digital medium."

2. Coverage You Can Count On: Combining eZeScreen and eZeMatte
Using eZeScreen and eZeMatte with Apple iMovie lets you create some very interesting results. Here's an example of how to create your own professional newscast!

Start by taking some video at a local event or sports game and import it into iMovie. In this example we've simply used video of a cloudy sky.
Then take a second video of a person standing in front of a solid colored background, introducing themselves and the event in the previous video. Use eZeScreen to overlay the second video and remove the colored background. If your second video contains audio, be sure to synchronize the audio properly. eZeScreen Audio Tutorial PDF	+
Next create a title graphic and use eZeMatte to overlay it on top of the entire iMovie composition. Remember that before you apply a second effect to a clip, you must first "Commit" the first effect. Just select the clip, click "Effects", then click the "Commit" button.	+
