DALLAS, TEXAS - September 15, 2003 - eZedia Inc., a leader in digital media software technology, announced at EdNET 2003, the appointment of Perry Reeves as Vice President of Strategic Initiatives. He joins eZedia, bringing with him more than 35 years of experience in communications, technology, and education. Mr. Reeves, who also holds the role of Vice President of Strategic Initiatives with Safari Technologies and is a member of the Thornburg Center for Professional Development, will split his time between all three organizations.

Mr. Reeves's vast experience in the education industry includes keynote presenter, trainer, and guest speaker at more than 300 educational conferences, workshops, and seminars worldwide. Mr. Reeves has trained more than 500,000 educators, students, and technology textbook publishers; and has educators across the country crediting him for their successful integration of multimedia into their classrooms.

In addition to being named 1989's International Multimedia Person of the Year by the International Interactive Communications Society, Mr. Reeves has received numerous awards for his outstanding contributions to the integration of multimedia in curricula. Some of these awards include the Computer Using Educators (CUE) Platinum Disk Award, an award of recognition from Pepperdine University; and the Golden Disk Award from The International Interactive Communications Society (IICS).

"We are delighted to have Perry join our organization," said Stefan Embleton, President and founder, of eZedia. "His extensive experience and knowledge of the issues that are facing today's educator will allow eZedia to continue growing our product line to meet these needs."

"I was immediately impressed by the power of eZedia's product line, and recognized its strength over other multimedia applications used in education today," says Reeves. "eZedia's ability to combine with other hardware and software applications, such as Safari, create a complete educational solution, and give students visual learning tools that will help them achieve the necessary 21st Century skills."
